The Delaware County District Library regularly receives copies of ARCs (Advanced Reader Copy books) from publishers, and we want to share them with Delaware teens. Teens are encouraged to pick out a free book, talk about their favorite books, hang out with friends on Free Book Fridays.
There are Free Book Fridays scheduled at the Delaware Main Library and at the Powell Branch this week on April 4, from 4:00-5:00 p.m.
Contact Mandy Henning at the Main Library (740-362-3861) or Becky Woodruff at the Powell Branch (614-888-9160) for more information.

One of the most common New Year’s resolutions is to manage money better, and the Delaware County District Library wants to help you keep that resolution so we’re offering a 2-week class on Basic Budgeting.
The class, presented at the Delaware Main Library, will include information on values about money, needs vs. wants, spending leaks, record keeping, developing a budget, credit and savings, and stretching your dollars with good consumer buying. Barbara Brahm, Extension Education from OSU Extensions Services will present the class, with the first session on Thursday, January 9, 2104 beginning at 6:30 p.m. The second session will be on Thursday, January 16 at the same time.
The classes are free, so they should fit into anyone’s budget!
